Products and Brands We Use And Trust

We use quality products across all of our residential work. For switchboard upgrades, we install Hager, Clipsal and Vultex components. For lighting, fans, smoke alarms and general electrical products, we use brands we’ve tested and trust, all backed by proper manufacturer warranties.

We’re happy to talk through what we’re installing on any job. A lot of homeowners these days want to know exactly what they’re getting for their money, and we think that’s fair. If you have a preference for a particular brand or product, let us know, and we can usually accommodate it.

Why Homeowners On The Peninsula Keep Coming Back

There are plenty of electricians servicing the Moreton Bay area. Here’s why our residential customers choose us and keep calling us back for their next job.

We Turn Up When We Say We Will

We give you a time, and we stick to it. You’ll get a message 30 minutes before we arrive. If something changes, you’ll get a phone call. We’ve built our business on reliability and communication because that’s what frustrates people the most about tradies. We take it seriously.

We’re Actually Local

Based in Clontarf, not driving from Brisbane and charging you for the privilege. We know the homes on the peninsula. We know which suburbs have the older wiring, which areas are prone to storm damage, and what the common electrical issues are in this part of Moreton Bay. We’ve been working here for close to a decade.

20 Years of Experience in the Trade

Two decades in the trade means there isn’t much we haven’t come across. We diagnose problems quickly because we’ve seen them before, and we don’t waste your time or money guessing. Whether it’s an old switchboard patched together for years or a brand-new build, we know what we’re looking at.

One-Year Complete Warranty

Every job we do comes with a one-year warranty on our workmanship, plus whatever manufacturer’s warranty applies to the products we install. We use quality brands, and we stand behind our work. If something isn’t right, we’ll come back and fix it.

Bjorn from On Electrical has been our electrician for years. He is professional and friendly, and just easy to work with overall. He communicated clearly, showed up on time, and got everything done without any hassle. I’d happily recommend him to anyone needing a reliable electrician.

Excellent service at a good price. Knowledgeable, always on time, efficient, tidy and goes out of his way to make sure the work is perfect. Bjorn is reliable, genuine and helpful (he was able to find the exact model of extractor fan and much better and more stylish light fittings than the ones I considered buying at a big store). Highly recommended. Thank you Bjorn! Fantastic job!

I was so impressed with the help we got Our family had a hospital situation and I rang and asked if we could get this sorted. Nothing was to much of a problem I would thoroughly recommend anyone needing an electrician to use this company. You have no idea how stressful it was for our family. God bless you Our family is just so grateful.

Do I need a licensed electrician for this?

In Queensland, any electrical work beyond changing a light bulb or resetting a circuit breaker must be carried out by a licensed electrician. That includes installing power points, light fittings, ceiling fans, smoke alarms, and anything involving your switchboard or wiring. It’s not just a legal requirement, it’s a safety one.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. We provide free quotes on all residential electrical work. We’ll come out, have a look at the job, and give you an upfront price before any work starts. No call-out fees for quoting and no surprises when the invoice comes.

How far do you travel for jobs?

We’re based in Clontarf and most of our work is within 15 to 20 minutes. Our main service area covers the Redcliffe Peninsula (Clontarf, Redcliffe, Scarborough, Margate, Woody Point, Kippa-Ring), Rothwell, Deception Bay, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Kallangur and Petrie. We can go as far as Chermside and Kedron for the right job.

Can you help with my renovation?

Yes. We handle full electrical renovations, from rewiring older homes to fitting out extensions and new additions. We regularly work with builders and other trades, and we’re used to coordinating our work with the rest of the build. If it’s a larger renovation, we’ll bring in trusted subbies to help, but you’re still dealing with us directly.

Are my smoke alarms compliant?

Queensland smoke alarm legislation requires all homes to have interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms in certain situations, particularly when selling or leasing a property. If your smoke alarms are older battery-operated units, they likely won’t meet current requirements. We can inspect what you’ve got and upgrade it if needed.

What areas do you service?

We service the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding Moreton Bay suburbs. Our main area covers everything north of the Hornibrook Bridge out to North Lakes, Mango Hill, Deception Bay and Petrie. We also take jobs in Brighton, Sandgate, Griffin and as far south as Chermside and Kedron.
